I remember my first climb above 4000 meters. Every step felt heavier than the last, the air grew thin, and my body reacted in unexpected ways. There, in the silence of the peak, a question was born: what is really happening to my body?

That question became our spark. Imagine the biting air, the cobalt sky. You ask yourself: where does fatigue end and the limit begin? Oxymeter was born to answer this.

Our Mission

We want to give every explorer, athlete, or dreamer the awareness needed to face altitude. We believe technology should be an invisible yet essential rope partner, allowing you to exceed your goals safely.

The mountain is a strict but fair teacher. It teaches discipline, resilience, and humility. We bring these same values into our code and design, creating tools that respect nature and those who challenge it.

We dream of a future where technology amplifies the human experience without distracting from it. Oxymeter is the first step towards a new generation of smart outdoor devices.

From Engineering to the Summit

It all started at the intersection of two passions: computer science and mountaineering. I am Andrea Galliani, an engineer with a heart for high altitudes. Unable to find a tool that combined precision and portability, I decided to build one from scratch.

The first prototype was rough, born between sleepless nights and field tests. Then came the turning point: winning the StartCup Bergamo. There I realized that Oxymeter was not just a gadget for me, but a solution for many. An entrepreneurial project born from pure passion.
